Volunteerism is not yet dead. You can feel it every time there is a need for the people to unite usually in the face of an adversity or a crisis. And with the rampant use of social media and the Internet, volunteerism has elevated into a global initiative shared and supported by like-minded people throughout the world that not only think about themselves but more of other people who have so very little in life and living on the outskirts of society.
