Welcome back! It's good to see you again. Please note that I am now publishing all new material at my hub site: In Context Blog
My friend Michael Sliwinski, founder of the Nozbe GTD application and editor of Productive Magazine, has just released the first issue of Productive magazine. It is a fantastic resource! The magazine includes 17 very useful articles in this first issue - with the headliner being an Interview with Getting Things Done author David Allen by Oliver Starr.
Your favorite feature of this magazine (besides the article by yours truly, of course!) is that it’s absolutely free to download.
The magazine is in PDF format and it is obvious that Michael and his team have put in a lot of time and effort producing this.
The list of contributors is a Who’s Who of the Productivity Blogosphere:
[the series] on Time Management for Creative People is now available to download as a free e-book. It’s subtitled ‘Manage the Mundane - Create the Extraordinary’ as it’s designed to help you maintain your creative focus while dealing with your other commitments.
You can download the e-book via this link:
You can get it from the link above. Feel free to share it or post it or print it, but please don’t sell it.
Drew and Gavin have completed the gargantuan task of pulling together all of the submissions for The Age of Conversation 2. I am very excited to be part of this project, and I believe that it will be a great success.
The book is available as a downloadable e-book beginning October 29, at a cost of $12.50, of which $10 will be contributed to the children’s charity Variety. Beginning on the same date, orders will be taken for a limited number of printed books in hardcover ($29.95, with $6.04 to charity) and softcover ($19.95, with $8.02 donated to charity).

Purchases can be made online at Lulu.com.
More information can be found at the Age of Conversation website. Please do consider purchasing this book, you can learn a lot and support a good cause.
The following is a link-rich list of all of the 237 contributors, please do take the time to visit their sites and leave a thoughtful comment.
Leo has a post up at ZenHabits where he is promoting a new e-book on setting up your workspace. He includes a disclaimer at the beginning of the post, but that seems to have stirred up a hornet’s nest in the comments.
Full disclosure: I’m part owner of Web Warrior Tools, the ebook publishing company that is selling the ebook below. However, I’m only sharing this ebook because I really like it and think you will find value in it. I don’t do advertising posts here at Zen Habits, but if you’re not interested in ebooks, you can skip this post.
I’m excited to share with you a new ebook from Glen of LifeDev that I think will be of value for anyone looking to optimize their workflow and generally make the most of their time.
While many of the Comments are positive, there are a few that are strongly negative.

I dunno… 10 bucks for 26 pages? Also, I assume it’s in PDF?
Maybe if it was offered in something else… ePub, Mobi, etc.. something I can put on an ebook reader, I’d be interested. But 10 bucks for 26 pages is still pretty steep. Maybe I’m just used to Kindle prices where that much will buy me a 500 page book.

I am really disappointed to see such a blatant advertisement.
The disclaimer is bogus as far as I am concerned
I have written a few posts like this and never saw that kind of negativity. Do you, as a reader, appreciate this kind of review and respect my decision to participate in an affiliate program? Or do you get a negative impression?
