Productivity Podcast - The Weekly Review

January 19th, 2009 by Stephen

Posted in GTD, Podcast, Productivity Mastermind |

Welcome back! It's good to see you again. Please note that I am now publishing all new material at my hub site: StephenPSmith.com

telephoneLast week’s conference call was a bust, due to a glitch in the phone system. So sorry about that!

ln lieu of having a conference call I recorded a short explanation of my Weekly Review workflow.

The recording is about 7 minutes and I would love to hear your thoughts.
Join in the discussions at the Work.Life.Creativity forum, where we kicked things off.

Be sure to register for the next Productivity Mastermind call [Upcoming link] this Thursday, 22 January, at 2:00 pm!

Note, if there is a better time for you, please let me know - as I would love to have more callers on the show. Please leave a comment about what time of day would work for you to join the call.

If you found this post useful, please share it with your friends on Twitter using the tinylink http://tinyurl.com/7y5xvs. Thanks, I appreciate it! Feel free to comment below, I enjoy discussing these ideas. ~@Stephen

I rarely miss a chance to hear how seasoned GTDers go about their weekly review. It was just the right length and level of detail.

I am going to try the 4-3-2-2-0 way to allocate my MITs over this upcoming week. This fits my practice of using Friday as a catch up day and accommodates for the slippage that inevitably occurs in workplace tasks. Avoiding new stuff on Friday–though not always possible–means the week ends with a nice endorphin rush that comes from completion and closure. I begin next Monday working on fresh tasks and not coated last week’s residue.

Thank you for your comment Mark, I am glad that I was able to give you a new idea. I look forward to being able to speak to you on one of the upcoming calls.

    Ahaan… I will follow.
