January 3rd, 2009 by Stephen

Posted in Blogroll |

Welcome back! It's good to see you again. Please note that I am now publishing all new material at my hub site: In Context Blog

SOBCon 2009I am! And boy-oh-boy am I excited! This is going to be a great year, I can see it already. (Click here or on the image to register)

Last year I had to beg and scrape to get myself to Chicago for what turned out to be a truly life-altering experience (another big thank-you to everyone who made that possible!). This year I will be giving a presentation on Friday!

Check out this august list of people that will be there, sharing their knowledge:

PRODUCTS AND PRACTICES

Single topic sessions built around how-tos important to online business and social media products and practices. Each session is 45 minutes — part presentation, part conversation with the presenters.

10:30am OpeningTerry Starbucker & Liz Strauss
11:15am - Noon Chris Brogan and Julien Smith

Noon - 12:40pm Lunch — delicious, healthful hot and cold food served in the cafe

12:45pm - 1:30pm Brian Clark

1:45pm - 2:30pm Denise Wakeman and Chris Cree
1:45pm - 2:30pm Wendy Piersall and David Bullock

2:30pm - 2:50pm Break – generous spread of sweet and healthful snacks and beverages

3:00pm - 3:45pm Stephen Smith and Michael Martine
3:00pm - 3:45pm Lorelle VanFossen and Melissa Pierce

4:00pm - 4:45pm Saul Colt and Terry Starbucker
4:00pm - 4:45pm Glenda Watson Hyatt, Karen Putz, and Stephen Hopson

Michael Martine and I will be talking about what your business blog needs to include, and how to make it into something more than just a publication. If you want to know more about SOBCon and what will be happening, see the SOBCon homepage.
