Stephenotes - The Meaning of Failure
Posted in Productivity, Stephenotes |
Welcome back! It's good to see you again. Please note that I am now publishing all new material at my hub site: In Context Blog
Today’s tip: “It’s okay to fail.”
Failure means that you did something and it turned out to be the wrong thing. Learn from it. Grow with it. Take this lesson and apply it to the next decision that you make.
Failure means that you didn’t have enough information. Now you know what it is that you don’t know, and you can learn it. Find a teacher, a trainer, a mentor.
Never stop learning and growing.
Never failing means never starting, never taking a risk. And that is not okay.

Stephen, one of the best resources that I’ve found related to failing forward is Seth Godin’s The Dip.
