10:40 am - I am sitting in the waiting area for Gate 8 in the Manchester Airport, waiting for my flight. It is so hot in here I am about to pass out. There are a few other folks with their laptops open, some reading, and one crying baby. I pray that the baby isn’t going to DC with us!

The terminal is surprisingly quiet, though, not too many people traveling at this time of day. I need to remember that for the next time I take a trip. Getting through security was a breeze, only 4 people in line and the TSA staff were quite friendly.

I just received an e-mail from Orbitz telling me that my flight is on-time and all systems go. That is a cool feature.

30 minutes to my flight, so I am going to power down. I will update in DC if there is enough time between flights.

12:45 pm - Just arrived in DC, it’s raining here. I have to wait for a shuttle to go over to the United terminal.

2:30 pm - Arrived in Chicago safely. Now I am off to meet my parents for dinner at Pizzeria Due. My FAVORITE restaurant, for pizza.

7:00 pm - Just returned to the hotel, it’s much warmer here than in Maine. Duh.

Going to freshen up and head over to the Fuel My Blog meetup.
