Welcome back! It's good to see you again. Please note that I am now publishing all new material at my hub site: In Context Blog
I came across this story about Time Management in the NYT, and wanted to share it with you. Please read the whole thing, then come back and share your thoughts.
The brain’s inclination to distort time is one reason we so often feel we have too little of it. One in three Americans feels rushed all the time, according to one survey. Even the cleverest use of time-management techniques is powerless to augment the sum of minutes in our life (some 52 million, optimistically assuming a life expectancy of 100 years), so we squeeze as much as we can into each one.
Believing time is money to lose, we perceive our shortage of time as stressful. Thus, our fight-or-flight instinct is engaged, and the regions of the brain we use to calmly and sensibly plan our time get switched off. We become fidgety, erratic and rash.
Thanks.

Hey Stephen!
I just discovered your blog and I think this New York Times article gives one a lot to ponder, doesn’t it?
I’m not going to look at the “time is money” phrase the same way again lol
That German Experiment was quite cool though.. I want to have that experience of almost going forward in time (although I don’t understand how one can do tt!)
I recently wrote an article on time management that has touched a vein in my readers. Maybe you’d like to check it out.
It has something to do with that 3 minute productivity thing the article talked about:
10 Proven Time Management Tips Everyone Should Practice
Keep the great posts coming, Stephen! I’m loving it!
