The Sports Page

March 2nd, 2008 by Stephen

Welcome back! It's good to see you again. Please note that I am now publishing all new material at my hub site: In Context Blog

Earlier this week I came across a quote from Earl Warren, former Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court:

“I always turn to the sports section first. The sports section records people’s accomplishments; the front page nothing but man’s failures.”

Wow.

What an amazing statement! It has inspired me to start a new feature here on Sundays that we will call The Sports Page. (Can you see where this is going?)

Each week, when you accomplish something that you believe is worthwhile or noteworthy, a milestone of any sort, please send me an e-mail. Write a short blurb about what you did and how you did it. You get to be a citizen journalist and guest-blogger!

I will post these accomplishments for everyone to share in your glory and satisfaction on Sundays.

These accomplishments do not have to be about work, about productivity, or anything in particular. Just tell us that something you were working on is done, and how you made it a success. Send your success stories to sports@hdbizblog.com and we will all benefit from positive and uplifting stories of attainment and being done.
