Self-Improvement Tools

Welcome back! It's good to see you again. Please note that I am now publishing all new material at my hub site: In Context Blog

Ever since I started my own GTD practice in January of this year I have been all around on the internets looking for guides and tools to make my life and work easier and better. I’d like to share one of those resources with you.

I have become a faithful reader of Lisa Gates’ blog Design Your Writing Life and an occasional participant in her weekly writing groups that she calls “I’m Calling You Out“:

If you’re jumping in for the first time, here’s how it works:

  1. Take the lead-in prompt questions or ignore them!
  2. Declare a goal or intention.
  3. Tell us what actions you’ll commit to for the week.
  4. Express your requests for support.
  5. Connect with and for each other.
  6. Imagine what’s possible, do the impossible.

The community at DYWL was always supportive and helpful in assisting me to get over blocks and get to work on the projects that I shared. Lisa is not only a web-based facilitator, but starting in December she will be offering two free introductory calls to give her readers a taste of the group telecoaching process:

  • Tuesday, December 4 at 5 p.m. PST
  • Friday, December 7 at 12 Noon PST

You can find out more about these workshops at Design Your Writing Life. I encourage you to get involved.
