    The Tip of the Iceberg

    September 17th, 2007 by Stephen

The tip of the icebergThe mighty list from Priscilla Palmer is paying off big.

While it taxes the ability of my WordPress platform to ping all of those blogs when it publishes, it was worth the effort of adding the list to the resources available here. I have found many new and useful blogs that I may never have seen before. I will  be visiting each and every blog on the list, and from time-to-time share what I have found.

Here is a selection of posts that I discovered this morning:

    1. Learning from your mistakes at Career Strategist
    2. Why didn’t me book get reviewed?” at the Crime Fiction Dossier
    3. Finding balance while blogging about your career from Jeremiah at Web Strategy
    4. Do you remember your first time? On the internet that is…
    5. Recommended open-source software at Evomend
    6. Tips for shutting things down in your head from 7breaths
    7. I have been meaning to Write an Elevator Speech, now I have a guide.
    8. Using your Core Values to generate a personal Mission Statement

I trust that others have found the list at least useful, if not an amazing resource, and an excellent example of crowd-sourcing!

      Hi Stephen,

thanks for pointing others to my ported open-source software (POSS) posting, I feel honored!

Your other reading recommendations were fine, too - especially #8 “Using your Core Values to generate a personal Mission Statement”. There’s even a web-based tool for conceptualizing a personal mission statement at - guess! - Stephen R. Coveys website:
http://www.franklincovey.com/missionbuilder. Its fun to use, give it a try.

      Keep up the good work!
