I have been tagged by samhallife with Five Questions:

    1. What is your favorite food and why?
This would have to be - pizza!

    Pizza

Specifically, pizza from Pizzaria Due in Chicago, Illinois. On a Sunday afternoon, with a pitcher of Sam Adams.

    The Scene
Open since 1955, the three-story brownstone wears its patina with pride. Two sunken dining rooms seat 140 combined, making it more accommodating than sister restaurant Uno, but no less cozy; exposed brick and Chicago-centric bric-a-brac make for an inviting setting. Tourists, conventioneers and knowing locals account for the often unbearable wait.

    The Food
If deep dish is king in Chicago, Due is a chief ambassador. The inch-and-a-half deep flaky pies arrive piping hot, appropriately gooey and minimally sauced, no matter the ingredients. Any of the five specialty pizzas are a good idea, especially the trademarked Numero Uno, a hearty combination of cheese, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and green peppers.

    2. If you had 1 day left to live what would you be most proud of accomplishing?
I would have to say I am most proud of my marriage to my wonderful wife. I really do not need much more than my life with her.

    3. What specific piece of art do you like the best and why?
The opera Don Giovanni, because of the power, the emotion. One of Mozart’s greatest works. I saw this opera in New Orleans and was completely blown away.

    4. What is your favorite memory from childhood?
For my eighth birthday I received my very first “real” bicycle, a super-cool heavy-duty dirt bike with big, fat knobby tires. I rode that thing all over my world for years. It was my first little taste of freedom.

    5. If you could choose your own name what would it be?
“KRULL THE CONQUEROR!!” No, just kidding. I would like a fun, Latin-esque double-entendre name like the ones that really describes my character, like the names in the Harry Potter books. Let’s see, how about Efficax Scriptor?

Now I suppose I need to tag someone, so I will pick on Ariane and Agent Sully, same questions.

    One Response

    1. Arthur Mboue Says:

I will advise people to answer personal questions because it creates this deep intimacy and friendship with the person you are talking to. It can also bring this free matchmaker’s help, for instance if some one knows that you are single and straight, he/she can connect you to an available friend, member of the family.
BUT, ‘do not answer’ is an understatement to dominant questions like Why don’t you join my cult?,…why don’t eat with my church?,…
