Stephenotes - Productivity Tips

June 26th, 2007 by Stephen

Posted in GTD, Stephenotes |

Welcome back! It's good to see you again. Please note that I am now publishing all new material at my hub site: In Context Blog

Before you go to bed, write down your most important tasks for the next day.

Then relax and get some sleep, because you know and trust that these tasks will get done.

I write down my most important tasks in the morning as part of my morning ritual. I get home late sometimes and it frees me of the stress of staying up even later to try and plan my next day.

Thanks for your comment, input from readers is an important part of what I am working on here. Your solution is perfect, having this planning as “part of your morning ritual” because it works better for you. The important thing is that it is a part of your routine.

Myself, I like to get up and get started, plus I sleep better when I can clear my head first.

That is the beauty of the GTD “system”, it is flexible and adaptive.
