Welcome back! It's good to see you again. Please note that I am now publishing all new material at my hub site: In Context Blog
There is a new way to connect with your co-workers, in a very Web 2.0 way - CompanyLoop. I will let Holly describe it in her own words:
CompanyLoop is a place to grow your network and build relationships at your company. With CompanyLoop, you can find the people you need within your company, get introduced to new people at your company, and stay up to date on co-workers like never before. Whether you’re trying to get your job done faster or accelerate your career, your company network can help.
See these posts for the definitive information:
Learn more about your co-workers,
Networking,
Making Connections,
sharing ideas and resources,
recognizing accomplishments,
building your personal brand,
and why every organization should have a CompanyLoop.
CompanyLoop has developed a service specifically designed to help people who work for big companies network with their company. When you join CompanyLoop, you can:
- Browse the profile pages of everyone at your company
- Invite co-workers to join your company network
- Meet co-workers in specific offices or on specific projects
- Find a mentor or mentee
- Meet co-workers interested in starting an interest group
- Find co-workers interested in playing sports after work
CompanyLoop allows you to find the people you want to meet more powerfully than ever before.
Web 2.0 meets Work 2.0. Think of CompanyLoop as your own personal Cluetrain Station.
Note: I have joined CompanyLoop, with HD BizBlog 1.2 as the company. There are some big things coming down the pipe! So go ahead - register at here at HD BizBlog (and subscribe to the feed) and I will send you an email address for our virtual company. Then you too can register at CompanyLoop. Watch for the coveted “Empolyee of the Month” award!
We can make Web 2.0 work for us.

I tried to join up - can’t find your company listed at the moment. Also it seems everyone who joins needs an official company email address to confirm they work for that company, how will this work with HD BizBlog??
